Ordered this for a basement space in our farmhouse, plugged into the wall, tested and it actually worked. I have yet to detect any carbon monoxide yet in our home, but the peace of mind this little device brings is worth every penny, highly recommend!

Really convenient that it can be plugged into the wall. You can still use batteries but I will not be. It also says on the device when it needs to be replaced which is 10 years in the future which is very helpful.
