Siterwell GS509A Standalone Photoelectric Smoke Detector

Very easy to install.

Easiest smoke detectors I've ever installed, someone put a lot of thought into the magnetic mounting. Quick and easy to remove for cleaning, painting or decorating.

They were installed using included optional non hardware stick on discs. They tested active, and done. They are a good value for two alarms.

Transaction went smooth. However, delivery was a day late.

The first thing I noticed is that this smoke alarm is smaller than I expected. It’s nice that it has an adhesive backing. If you’re not someone who has or is good with tools, it’s a great option to just be able to stick it. So far the battery has lasted (but it’s only been a couple months). The volume is good. It would wake me up. Overall, this is good as an extra alarm.
