Siterwell GS886-H04 Standalone Smoke Detector with 10-Year Battery

Very difficult to understand how to get it put together. Not able to use. The first one got broken and unusable, the second one is sitting in the box untouched. Need better instructions.

Seems a reliable smoke alarm; can't go wrong with 10 year battery for convenience. Installation is pretty standard for this style of smoke detector. Price is very decent; would recommend multiples for every household.

Quality smoke detector. Although my home is wired, I wanted one in my garage. Easy to install and works great.

I've been going around the house replacing my old smoke detectors with these as I really appreciate the 10yr battery. Based on the effort this brand has gone through for compliance, and seeing the other reviews for their other products I hope it lasts as long as advertised, but even if it lasts 4+ years it's about the same price as 9v batteries would be without having to deal with that nuisance.As with most of their products it's easy to install, takes a few minutes - drill, screw, twist and test.
