Warnings and Precautions

Non-rechargeable. DO NOT recharge, crush, short-circuit, heat, disassemble or incinerate. Use only in devices specifying the exact CR17450 model and voltage. Keep batteries away from children. Seek prompt medical assistance if swallowed; follow the model-specific manufacturer's warning.
- Since the battery is not designed to be charged, charging may cause electrolyte leakage or damage to the device.
- Install the battery with correct polarity; otherwise it may be charged or over-discharged.
- Short-circuiting, heating, disposing of in fire and disassembling the battery are prohibited.
- DO NOT force-discharge the battery, which may cause swelling, leakage or explosion.
- DO NOT mix new and used batteries; replace all with the same brand and type.
- Remove exhausted batteries from the device to prevent leakage.
- Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
- DO NOT dismantle or deform the battery.
- DO NOT immerse batteries in water or expose them to high humidity.
- If leakage occurs, avoid contact with skin and eyes. Flush with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
-
CAUTION
- If materials contact eyes, flush with running water for at least 15 minutes and consult an ophthalmologist.
- If the battery emits odor, heat, discoloration or deformation, remove it immediately and dispose of it.
- DO NOT mix batteries of different types, brands, or significantly different capacities.
- Avoid exposing batteries to extreme heat (direct sunlight, radiators).
Waste Prevention and Management
Collect used batteries separately from mixed household waste using approved take-back or recycling facilities. Protect terminals where required by collection instructions. Observe local rules for damaged or leaking batteries.
Supporting Documents
Waste battery prevention & management (EU Battery Regulation Art. 14(1))
Spent batteries must be collected separately and recycled. Do not throw them into fire or mix them with metal objects.
If leakage, deformation or overheating occurs, handle with care and keep out of reach of children.
Hazardous substances comply with Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 Annex I limits. Recyclable materials and critical raw materials are marked on the battery or in supporting documents.
